I have 2 Epson printers, the R1900 and 1400. They both print 13x19. Of the two, I really like the 1400 a bit more. It's less prone to do a head cleaning every few days, and the colors are really vibrant. The R1900 is much better for printing on fine art paper.

I got the 1400 from Staples, on a sale, with a 50.00 rebate, and it ended up costing me 149.00. Of course, since buying it, I've spent hundreds in ink.

Don't buy used, most people are selling the printer without inks, and it will cost you more to buy used and get ink than it will to buy a new printer.

See if you can get a deal on it, this seems awfully high for a price.

Epson is a really good brand. Check out B&H's site to get an idea of prices. The bigger size paper the printer prints, it's going to get more and more expensive. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Inkjet-Printers/... (prices are in American, though)
