It takes 24 credits to enlist in navy as E-2, I have 21, will the three i get for completion of bc move me up?

I read that one recieves three college credits for completion of boot camp and I am wondering if I will get bumped up to E-2 when I get those credits. And maybe up to E-3 with my credits plus passing my PQS does anyone have any info on this?

The boot credits will not count towards advancement. Study the hell out of the Navy training guide they give you in dep and be in good shape when you ship out. If you pass the written test and the physical test, you are eligible for advancement, otherwise you can be meritoriously advanced through doing really well and impressing your RDCs. If you don't do that, you have to do what everyone else does, wait.

    Nope.

You must have earned the credits prior to enlisting to gain advanced enlistment rank.
