Which area of Bethlehem are you moving to? Bethlehem is pretty large with different "suburbs" and they can be worlds apart. Some areas of Bethlehem, like around 5 points, are not-so-nice. Other areas like Freemansburg, Center St by the library or even Fountain Hill are better. Historic Bethlehem around Musikfest and the main strip are very touristy- lots of shopping, high end boutiques and eateries.
Bethlehem has some really neat attractions throughout the year like Musikfest, Celtic Classic and is the best place to be during Christmastime. That is also a bad thing for local residents with a lot of housing being on-street parking.

Define "good"? It's one of those cute terms I can't stand to hear. It's Not Shangri La But it's not Detroit ethier........ Small older former industral towns. Last time I was up that way found them kinda boring. A place kids join the army to get way from. Nothing worth being scared over.
