Who honestly thought Holland could win the world cup ?

I was saying to my friend, that I fancied them to win because it is the first time in my memory that I did not hear their name mentioned as possible winners by 'any' of the pundits, and I like to think outside the boxes of convention, and Spain, Brazil, Argentina were not experts choices, they were glaringly apparent choices, and I have always said that the German's are very very good in that format also, but not even i thought they would dispatch the Argies that convincingly, but again i have always said: watching Messi is like being at a roundabout, as he just goes left, left, and then left again.

Holland has a good team and they make to qfs, semis and face Brazil and get knocked off. This time  they did win that match. Both Brazil and Holland knew, if they win that match better things lie ahead. But do not under estimate the other 2 teams they need to face.
Germany is not an easy team to beat.

Holland certainly have the players to win this World Cup.  But that has also been true of every World Cup I can remember.  The problem has often been in bringing them together as a team.

The odds I was given for Netherlands were 25-1. I put 100 down and hope they pull it off. However, I think Germany because they are the most well rounded team and have played near perfect futbol.

I had no idea Holland was that good or would come this far, I swore it would come down to Spain & Brazil in the finals.
