If your computer breaks down do you lose all your sites?

i got a laptop and if it breaks down will lose all my sites and everything on it ?

    Yes you can.. I lost a lot of my stuff when I got a virus once.. that's why its always best back EVERYTHING up that's important to you..

    Here's a tip.. all the sites that you use, copy and paste them into one email and save them on Yahoo, that way they will always be there for you to click on.. anywhere.. any-time.. hope this helps..

    It depends on what you mean by break down. If you mean the hard drive dying - the answer is yes. If you mean other hardware failure - then possibly not.

    If you're concerned about losing Favorites (I'm assuming you're using Windows) - then I'd suggest some kind of online backup service like Mozy - free for up to 2gb of storage. http://mozy.com/ It'll allow you to backup online what things are important to you and retrieve them later in case of failure on your laptop.

    Unfortunately yes mate, unless u can recover the computer using XP recovery, or try SD FIX, worked for me! :)
