Don't forget about solar water heating, it has a much bigger bang for the buck than just solar electric. It can reduce your water heating bill by up to 75%.
If you want to do your own research on finding incentives in your area, go to the DSIRE web page at http://www.dsireusa.org/
And whatever you do, avoid those "build it yourself for $200" scam sites.
