car audio question amp and speaker problem?
i want to amp up my rear speakers, they are 175 watt max rated. I have a 2 channel 300 watt amp, if i hook up both the speakers will that deliver 150 watts to each speaker of 300? I dont want to blow my speakers out so will that be ok? My front speakers are also 140 watt max rated if the first proposition wont work is there a way i can amp up all my speakers with that amp without damaging them?

Connect 2 speakers to 1 channel and the rear 2 to the other channel and it should work with no problem.

for tht to work you have to keep the amp turned down and have the settings low anough but not to low tht it will push them but usually you can buy an amp made specially for them
