- TemperanceLv 61 decade agoI have a thing for Irish girls names starting with S...my top three: Saorise Saorla Siobhan I also like: Niamh Aoife Eabha Caitriona Alastriona Eileanora Eimile Finola
- blandinLv 44 years agoSaoirse is my all time customary Irish ladies call. it incredibly is totally underused right here too. In my finished existence, I even have met one Saoirse. Aoife and Caoimhe (KWEE-vah) are beautiful too, yet fairly favorite right here in eire.
- MillyLv 61 decade agoAre you talking Irish as in "Kylie", "Cara", "Brianna" and "Kaitlyn"? If so, sorry. I don't consider those names, or any names like the above examples to be in any way, shape or form an authentic Irish name. Being Irish myself and a fluent Gaelic speaker, it's hardly a brain teaser as to why now is it? I'll gladly list my personal favourites for girls, but whether you'll embrace them or hurl at the sight of them is up to you. Caoimhe (KWEE vah) Saoirse (SEER sha) Ailís (AY lish) Clodagh (CLOW dah) Roisin (ROW sheen) Sorcha (SOR ka) Saibh (SIGHv) Éabha (Ava) Sinéad (shin AYED) Áine (AWN ya)
- Anonymous1 decade agoIm not really a fan of any Irish names. because I find them to be EXTREMELY confusing in the English language. There is only one that isn't confusing and that's Caitlin. So that one is my favorite.
- 1 decade agoNiamh, though it is so over done I do like Bronagh and Orla too though and they are less common but still very Irish :)
