I am also Republican, BTW, part of a group of Pagan Republicans, so I'm not quite sure what you are getting at bringing Republicans into this, except that perhaps you have been pretty much following along the liberal herd mentality of "all Republicans are this" and "all Republicans are that." Stereotyping is so closed-minded and will really bog down your thinking.

I would agree that they all share basic principals but I wouldn't say they are the same. To do that is like saying to the pope that Protestants and Catholics are the same. There are differences and they deserve to be recognized.
