I have a small plot of ground I would like to plant something.
I live in West Tennessee.

It's too late to plant tomatoes. The fruit won't ripen before frost.
Hardy veggies like Radishes, leaf lettuces, onions, snap peas, kale can withstand some frost.
See links. Google 'vegetables for fall planting'.

Without knowing your location (which zone are you in?)
it would be hard to say. How about Tomatoes, Lettuce,
Spinach, Swiss Chard, Cabbage, Collards, Broccoli, Squash,
and just a little of everything you WANT.
Vegetable seeds are so cheap and if you get some vegetables
out of the remainder of the year you will be ahead of the produce prices!
Enjoy your gardening - that is the main thing. Good luck to you!
