First time on Disney Cruise.....?

I'll be taking the Disney cruise for the first time this September with my kids and mom. It's a 4 night Bahamas Cruise. I would like to hear any experiences, helpful tips, suggestions and any other information would be appreciated. I have a 16 year old son with autism and a 2 year old girl.

We ( me, my husband, 12 yo daughter & 8 yo daughter) went January 2010 on a three night. We bought cheap insulated travel mugs in Orlando to take on the trip. There is free soda on the deck with the pools, so we filled up and could easily take them into the movies or back to the room. If you get soda anywhere else you will pay... and really wouldn't you rather have it free?

Highly recommend Deb's allears network website for more cruise info and for recent copies of "The Navigator" which is the daily program of activites. It's nice to look at at home and get a feel for how many different options the ship has.

We are taking a 7 day Mexican Riviera March 2011 with my mother-in-law---The cruises are really that nice!

    Have fun!

in case you enjoyed your Disney cruises, i'm valuable you would be very disillusioned by employing Carnival cruises. A Disney cruise is greater high priced with the aid of fact that's greater-end. You get what you pay for. with the aid of fact Carnival cruises are lots greater value-effective, in addition they appeal to a distinctive crowd than Disney cruises. that's like comparing the human beings you hit upon showing on the ninety 9 cents save vs. human beings procuring at Neiman-Marcus. the human beings on your cruise can certainly make or wreck the adventure you have.

You will probably get better answers in the cruise section but, I personally love cruising. I haven't gone with Disney yet but I hear they are fantastic.

Here you can find many reviews on your specific ship.
