The main characters of all are based on real people except for Hannibal Lector and Buffalo Bill. Those two bad guys were based on composites of a number of serial killers, not just one.

my left foot isn't based on people experiencing neglect/violence/war like the others. even blind side is a story of overcoming neglect.
