I'm back again! Nothing much has changed in Y!A, I see. I'm Jamie, I'm from the Philippines, and I specialize in movies. No, I'm not a professional, just a plain hobbyist. I even earned a Top Contributor badge in the Movies section, but the YA Community took it away from me before I could even brag about it. You can also see me frequent the Celebrities and Polls & Surveys section. During high times, I spread some love to the Pets section. I'd be staying in Yahoo Answers for a while. I am just burning time here until some blessed company calls me for a job opportunity.

  • I am a very skinny guy . Should I fatten myself a bit before working out/hitting the gym?

I suffered from anorexia around two years ago so now I have a stick-like figure - thin arms, flat chest, ribs are showing, and very flat stomach (in an odd-looking way) - and I am waaaay underweight. However, despite these, my legs are still in great shape.

I'm planning to get my old body back (and build muscles along the way) by hitting the gym, but should I fatten myself up before doing so?

  • Should I get another rat?

I'm taking care of a female albino. She's been with me for five months now. She's very playful, but I'm thinking of getting her a female companion. I saw some baby rats in a pet shop, should I buy one to keep her company while I'm away at work? Will they fight to death like hamsters do?

  • WiFi for desktop computers? Help out a computer noob?

I know how to use a computer, I just don't know the technical stuff. I own a desktop computer while my dad and two brothers all own laptops. We have a wifi modem in our house, and my computer is the only computer that is connected to that modem via cable.

Is there anything I can purchase in the local computer store that I can attach to my desktop computer so that it would receive WIFI signals instead of connecting it to the modem via cable? What's that stuff called? Sorry I'm not into tech stuff so I don't know these things.

  • What course should I take up if I want to study about stock market, investors, etc.?

I'm planning to study again since I'm not that happy with what I've studied two years ago... I want to study about the stock market and investor relations... I'm not sure if I should I take up economics, finance, or business management?

  • My rat squeaks whenever I pet her. Is this a good sign or not?

First off, my albino rat is not very social. She's four months old and I just bought her three days ago. We haven't been making any progress ever since - she does not climb up to my hand nor respond to my voice and whenever she senses that I'm around she hides in her little box. And she pees/poops on me whenever I pick her up! Good news is she does not bite - she merely nibbles on my finger.

But yesterday I stroked her fur and she let out a little squeak. I did it again and the same sound occurred. She remained still and her eyes are frozen wide while I did it though. Is this a little sign of trust?

  • When will my rat overcome her shyness?

So, people from Yahoo Answers actually convinced me to buy a rat. She's an albino, four months old (at least according to the pet store), and everytime I pick her up, she pees on me. The only pro I could find about her is that she does not bite.

Is it a long wait for her to become friendly/social? All she seems to do is to hide under this big hamster wheel in her cage (she's living in a cage where one of my hamsters lived before, don't worry, I fastened the wheel in such way that it can't spin - she never tried to get on it anyway).

  • Name of this classical piano tune?

Uh just watch the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_MiYNi3CAw&feature... and in about 12 seconds you can hear this mysterious piano tune. It lasts until 40 seconds into the video.

I've heard this tune before but I don't know what's it called! I hope someone can help me. I just need it for a little project.

  • Are rats and mice the same?

Wow, I've looked at nearly EVERY pet shop near our city but I cannot find anyone selling a fancy rat! They sell mice, however. I really do want to take care of rats, teach them tricks and stuff. I've been taking care of hamsters for years, but I eventually got bored of them :(

If I buy mice, would they behave the same way as rats?

  • Should I get my dwarf hamster another playmate?

Her sister died just now! The cage is too big for her alone. Should I get her another housemate?

She's a Siberian, by the way. Only two months old.

  • Can I add two more siberian hamsters to live with my three-month old siberian hamsters?

I have two siberian hamsters living in the same cage. One is pretty timid, and the other is very, very energetic (and cannot be tamed - she still bites me to this day), but they pretty much live in harmony. They have a big cage, and I was wondering if it is safe to add two more siberian hamsters with them?

They're both female by the way. And I also am planning to buy two more females. I never breed hamsters since pregnancy would only shorten their already-short lifespan.

  • Hamster recovering from stroke?

My teddy bear hamster is recovering from a stroke. She can now control her hind legs slightly and resumed eating/drinking, and rests all the time. Is there anything I can do to speed up the recovery? I left her on her own for three days, because she bites hard when I touch her (she never bit me before). I also returned her ball (which she uses as her running wheel and shelter), is this a good idea or should I remove it until she fully recovers?

  • What should I get - a rat or a guinea pig?

I've taken care of two hamsters for three years now. Unfortunately, one of them died, so I have one vacant aquarium cage in my room. Which is more manageable/easier to take care of, a rat or a guinea pig? And are they as clean as hamsters? I'm afraid of catching diseases from them, and my hamsters never gave me one.

  • So you think you're movie-savvy? First to get this right gets 10 points!?

Hello. The last time I did this quiz-thingy was in 2008. I'm just trying to find out if you can still ride with it.

There are ten films in this list, can you tell me which doesn't belong to the group? It's a big bonus if you're good with movies.

    1. Bonnie and Clyde

    2. The Pianist

    3. Boys Don't Cry

    4. Dog Day Afternoon

    5. The Silence of the Lambs

    6. Mommie Dearest

    7. My Left Foot: The Story of Christy Brown

    8. Dead Man Walking

    9. Downfall

    10. The Blind Side

Clue: It has nothing to do with the release dates
