Apparently the travel guide says that Great Britain is made up of - (people with) Bad teeth, bad food, football hooligans! Oh and orderly queueing!

Would you agree!?
Marios Brother - i live in the uk and you need to learn how to improve you literacy skills.
I posted it as a question because I thought it was something interesting to DEBATE and DISCUSS
I will admit to the bad teeth, but who can help that when the NHS dentists are a dying breed and no one can afford cosmetic dentistry!

No I would not agree Great Britain has no more bad teeth bad food or football hooligans than any other Country If you are looking at football in particular Holland have much to be ashamed of after their shocking performance in the World cup final last night and that was the team not the supporters. They were totally unsporting the coach was seen to take off his losers medal coming down from receiving it the team remonstrating with the referee after the final whistle. Bad show Europe

No i wouldn't agree and it is very annoying at the same time. Bad teeth? Who honestly has perfect teeth anyway without dental correction? Bad food? What exactly is bad food? Football hooligans....thats just the media. Orderly queuing, well yes but what kind of civilized country doesn't have queuing?

I guess this Laura Tait hasn't enough writing skills to grab people's attention so she reaches for the shock effect? I very much liked the people of Great Britain, their food and the many historic sites. Only thing I got sick of was the Brussels sprouts....lol

Those are just the worse stereotypes of the British.
Americans - loud, obnoxious, uncouth, obese, ignorant, war mongering bigots.
French - smelly garlic eating surrender monkeys
Germans - Efficient, not sure, I like the Germans.
Spanish - Lazy, self-absorbed.
List could go on but those are just the stereotypes.

We scoured the travel guides to see how we're really perceived by the rest of the world, just to lazy to come up with something close to being original.

Ye gods - all the old stereotypes, eh? Does it say that all the men wear bowler hats and pin striped trousers too? And that most homes have outside loos and no telephones?

English soccer/football is world's favourite. Even if they don't care about British ways, they do like something.

And we Americans are made up of people with morbid obesity, arrogance, stupidity, and stereotypical views!
