My dr said i have copd.?
She didn't run any tests to show I have this disease. Can she diagnose me without tests?

When we suspect someone has COPD, we usually run a PFT (pulmonary function test) on them. This is one of the most accurate ways of diagnosing COPD. You can see it in xrays too...but PFt is better.
I don't understand why some docs think it is ok to diagnose someone without having the proper tests done. This negligence causes so many misdiagnosed diseases.
I would do like the other answerer said and demand to have a PFT done.

Depending on your history but she is most likely correct. A ex ray can tell. You need to make some major changes in life now to stop or help stop progression. Ask for full pulmonary tests please take care of it now.
