I have about 3 questions that need answering for Monster Hunter Tri?

1. Where can I find pelagicite ore? I checked the flooded areas and I still can find anything.

2. I'm towards the beginning of the game so do I need any requirements to get this ore?

3. How am I supposed to trap a Great Jaggi?

Pelagicite ores are located in area 5, 6, and/or 1 of the Flooded Forest. I don't know about area 8.

Just need to have flooded forest area.

Trap, using shock traps (trap tools + thunderbugs) and or pit fall trap (trap tools + net). You are ready to capture Great Jaggi when it limps out to next area, or when you have activated the skill "perceive" to 10+ "Capture guru" and when you paint the boss monsters, the monsters blink on the map when it's ready to be captured. When it drools, it just means that they lost their stamina, not ready to be captured.

    1. You can find the ore underwater in Flooded Forest

    2. You need Flooded Forest

    3. Weaken Great Jaggi. Look for signs that it is weak (drooling, limping to another area, especially if it's limping ). Then set a trap and trap it, use a Tranq bomb on him while he is trapped (should take about 2 bombs, maybe more) and your done :)

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is an entierly different game than Monster Hunter 3 on Wii. They're two very different games; Portable 3rd, for instance, can only do local four player multiplayer whereas MH3 Wii can do full online multiplayer. Further, MH Portable 3rd HAS NOT been announced for a release outside of Japan. The game has so much Japanese text that it would be pointless to play it until the game is released here. Stick with MH3 Wii.
