My red traffic light turned green then a second later back to red?
Today I was at a stop light and then I saw it turned green so I started to accelerate. The next thing I knew, I was looking back up at the light halfway through the intersection and it was red again. There was no yellow, It just went from red to green to red again all within a few seconds. I looked behind me and no other cars went so I'm a little confused as to why the light did that. My passenger in the other seat also said she saw it turn green and then it was red again. I basically ran a red light because of this.

The lights could be faulty or you could have thought you seen the light change & your passenger agreed with you. I tend to think it was the latter as other cars did not go across - only you.

This happens sometimes when the logic resets in the controller.. 4 way red. This might also happen if the light has an opticom and there's an emergency vehicle approaching.

Wow, I even don't recognize why! yet this has exceeded off to me too. in this one street the common seems to always turn red when I come by it. Apparentley that is on a sensor and considering that there hasnt been any vehicles ahead for a lengthy time period it in basic terms turns red on your motor vehicle. try rushing quite quickly so the sensor doesnt catch you! haha im in basic terms kidding ;) yet dont hassle your no longer going loopy!!
