Knees and hip joints hurt?

I'm 15, so i dont think its arthitis. My hip started hurting last week after i bailed out when i was surfing and landed hard on it. my knees just dont stop hurting. theyve hurt since i was about 12. I play football, lacrosse, and paintball. i also surf, wakeboard and knee board. im in weight training right now and tryouts for the football team are next week. My knees and hip really slow me down, and i need to be my best for tryouts, so what can i do to make them stop hurting. i wont be able to go to a doctor until monday. is it better if i stop some of the sports i play or do more?

Update:

if i should quit sports, which ones?

That just may be an overuse "injury". You're doing very well, but don't push too hard. If it hurts, it's your body's way of saying A) You're doing something wrong B) Too much too soon Knee problems are either overuse injuries or caused by excessive heel striking. Try to land "midfoot" and increase your cadence slowly (smaller faster steps). Start your run at an 'effortless' pace for the first mile. Stop and do hip circles and some stretching after that, then keep going. Get the book Chi Running. Hip, knee, shin and other associated injuries disappear with this style of running. You're doing great! Just don't forget to rest or take a day off after a hard run.

i would definitely stop some sports at least don't take up anymore sports. your hip is probably a bone bruise which hurt REALLY bad. and your knees could be from overuse plus growing pains which would be very painful as well. i'm about your age and my knees have ached since about 12 too. you could also have Osgood-Schlatters disease (it sounds a whole lot worse than it is haha) its very common in teens that are very athletic like you. here's a link on it:

after activities you should use RICE to help relieve pain and hopefully start to decrease symptoms but I would definitely go to the doctor, you can never be too sure. Good luck at football tryouts! :)

Laziness is not a real disease, but a mental a single. Make it easier for your whole body to burn those extra calories by parking the car a little further away through your destination or take the stairs instead of the elevator.

Are you really hungry, or just being greedy? Your stomach is only how big a fist so it takes just a number of food to fill it easily. Assess how you feel following eating. If you feel stuffed, bloated or tired, you are either eating with the wrong time or consuming an excessive amount of.

Brightly coloured turmeric not just makes your curries taste fab, however it contains curcumin, an active ingredient that stops working high-protein dishes, burns fat as well as holds back the growth of new fat tissue, according to the Journal of Nutrition.
