Can I use dial soap to clean my industrial and navel piercing?

Using dial soap is perfectly ok. I got my naval peircing about a year ago and used dial soap but i didnt use a cutip. I just washed my hands with the dial soap, dryed them on a clean rag, rubbed my finger on the soap bar and put the soap on my peircing for 30 seconds and cleaned it off with purified water (nestle lol). Ive never had a problem when i did this.. Not even that crusty stuff. Using a cutip is ok but you have to make sure its clean.

Soap dries out piercings. The best way to help your piercing heal without infection and the least amount of complications is to use warm water mixed with non-iodized sea salt and soak them with it 2x a day for *edit* at least 5 MINUTES each time.

If you weren't prepared to clean your piercings properly, why did you get them in the first place? Both industrial and navel piercings are prett dodgey piercings to deal with, and you should clean them in the right way.

Edit #2: It makes me wonder where some of you guys get your piercings done. These piercers don't give out very good advice.
