Could be.
Remember that your last point depends on you training your dog to cooperate. No dog is born knowing what you want.

If your athletic go for a rhodesian ridgeback. they can run for ages! and they need the exercise so you will stay motivated. They are lovable, playful family dogs. Cope well in alomost any weather condition. Easy to groom and doesnt really shed. Keep in mind every dog sheds.
Greyhound...? beautiful, sleak and fast!
A poodle could be suitable for you but it wouldnt be at the top of my list for you. Try other options.

the poodle will be a good dog for you. the poodle is very smart, athletic, and very cooperative when groomed. But make sure you choose your next best friend wisely.

Yes they are. They fit everything you want. Standards at least. Mini and Toys are not as athletic. Standards are athletic, hypoallergenic, affectionate and attention grabbers, VERY smart. The last depends on how you train it to be. If you start as a puppy and give it praise and treats then of course, your dog will LOVE being groomed. If you place your dog in a tight space and yell at her if she is not cooperative, do you think she will become to be???

Ask yourself a few questions. Do you have the time to take the dog on daily long walks? Do you have the time to train the dog very well? Can you afford or have the right equipment to have him/her groomed often?
Poodles are incredibly loyal and smart, if you think you have the time and money for one, I say go for it. Do some finer research too.

Your standard poodle sounds like an excellent dog for you. Just be sure to meet different poodles that are up for adoption before you make a selection. Some may not do/like anything you listed.

A standard poodle could run with you, a smaller one may not be able to keep up.

Yes that would be the perfect dog. Poodles dont lose much hair and theyre extremely smart, from early age they will get use to grooming. My family has poodles. They come all in diff sizes too toy, standard. just depends wat you want.
Other breeds maltese, westies. Maltese's are intelligent and dont lose hair and love to be groomed and are very loyal to their owners

NO! Get a springer spaniel, they don't shed, they don't run away (well mine doesn't), they LOVE to fetch (well at least mine does), they LOVE to go on hikes, they LOVE bike rides, they LOVE walks, and just LOVE being athletic! THEY ARE GREAT! Good luck. :)
