Fell off scooter and hurt knee?
The little girl I nanny, who is 8, and my girls were outside playing while I was making lunch, and she tripped the scooter and fell. She was crying pretty hard, and already her knee had a nice bump on it. It took me a few to convince her to bend it, but she could, and then I got her to walk inside and sit on the couch and put ice on it. Which she said walking hurt. She has stopped crying at least but still says it hurts to bend, but at least not in tears when she bends it. I am just wondering if I should be any more concerned than it hurts at the moment and will be fine soon and just have a nice bruise. What would you do??
Xii- thanks, I figured but the way she was screaming and crying had me a little worried. But she is seeming better and has said it feels a little better

if she can bend it and walk on it, the damage is pretty light, probally a bruise. If it starts to swell real big or turn really black , then you need to take her to an emergency clinic.

I would just have her keep the ice on it . If you know of a time the parents are not working I would call them just to let them know she fell and got hurt if it is still hurting her 1 hour after really badly.

How approximately telling her to take a tub or heat tub then she would sense greater on top of issues. i be attentive to it wont kill each and all of the germs notwithstanding if it is going to get rid of the grit and dirt. desire she ok. attempt telling her if she doesnt enable you do it you will take her to the scientific institution and that they're going to do it. she would go with her mum doing it and supply in. wrth a attempt :-)

Just clean it and put a bandaid on it if it's scraped, and keep ice on it. It's no big deal, kids fall.
