What is the best vocal performance you've ever heard?

This question came to me last night while is was listening to Alice in Chains. I had the song "Sickman" on and (even though I've had this album for about 14 years) was just as amazed as if I'd bought the album yesterday.

Layne's vocals are the best I've ever heard on this song, here's a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58UvGQwA8HI

He hits notes that very few people can.

What about you guys, What do you consider to be the best vocals (from any genre) that you've ever heard?

Update:

Wow, lots of great answers. I'm gonna have to do some studying on some amswers cause i'm not familiar with all of them.

Muse's performance of Showbiz on the Hullabaloo live DVD. The way Matt Bellamy executes the fifth-octave notes at the climax is just stunning.

I have to say "Grace" by Jeff Buckley. The first time I listened to it, I had no idea how to react. But I had goosebumps for about five minutes. The ending where he is just vocalizing is...unearthly.
