Is one 60 degree wash enough to get nearly new baby clothes clean?

I've been given a big box of new and nearly new baby clothes that have been stored in a rather grotty cardboard box for the past 6 months so I wanted to give them a good wash. Is one wash at 60 degrees enough to get them nice and clean?

Update:

Lol at person who doesn't know what a 60 degree wash is!

You will need to watch out for shrinkage. Cotton clothes can be washed at 60 but even then vests, babygros etc may shrink a little bit. If it's just general dustiness you want to get rid of from them being in a box just a good wash at 40 will be fine.

Half of it will end up shrunk!

Check out the labels - and sort into piles. Some will only be able to go in at 30 degrees, so of the cotton stuff will be at 90 so you need to check it all. A normal wash for each type of fabric is fine.

Dont wash them all on 60, itll ruin them. Try and handwash what you can and wash the others on 30.
