What is a P3 Disqualification code at MEPS?

My paperwork was sent to MEPS in 2008 for the Navy, and I was medically disqualified. The Navy recruiter did not go into details about anything -- whether it was waiver recommended or permanently disqualified.

Now I am trying to join the Marines and my recruiter sees that MEPS put P3 as a Disqualification Code on that paperwork from 2008. He doesn't know what this means and is asking his boss about this.

Does anyone know if this means Permanently DQ'd or Waiver Recommended?

Update:

Ok, well I had an issue with headaches that lasted a month or so and unfortunately I saw a Neurologist in that time and he had me go get an MRI. Even though the MRI came back normal, he did prescribe me meds, which I took for 30 days and have never had again. He has since written TWO letters of approval, saying I have no problems and would be able to perform all duties normally.

The second problem is the worse one: I was prescribed Zoloft for less than a year when I was 17 years old. I am now 21.

    3) A profile containing one or more numerical designators of “3” signifies that the individual has one or more medical conditions or physical defects that may require significant limitations. For those applying for military service, this designation is usually a disqualification. For individuals already in the service, the individual should receive assignments commensurate with his or her physical capability for military duty (ie, limited duty/assignments)

EDIT: Trying to get a waiver will be nearly impossible for situation. Doesn't matter what your civilian doctor says. MEPS will do the finally determination and they already said no.

It simply means you're broke. A waiver being recommend or not is annotated by the reviewing Doc's notes, there's no indication based on the code.

If you want to talk about what's wrong with you, we can tell you what your chances of getting a waiver are.

P3 is your physical profile. "P" refers to physical capacity. Organic defects, strength, stamina, agility, energy, muscular coordination, function, and similar factors. A designation of "3" indicates that you are unable to perform full effort except for brief or moderate periods.
