First good answer to Snazzle. They're mascots for the Vocaloid software that have kind of taken on a life of their own. Also, within the software, each character has their own voice... so in that sense each represents a specific product.

If you really wanna know more, look up "hatsune miku" in youtube, even watching a few seconds of a few videos will give you some idea of why some people like them. Heheheh... or just Google "hatsune miku" and look at Images. Currently there are approximately 501,000. Wow.

its not really a manga or anything its vocaloid its a japanese band type but is all created by technology no singers they use 100% computers xD
