Evangelicals, do you think it really works?

I think it's very pushy and inconsiderate.

Not to mention disrespectful to the authors and publishers of the books.

I think there is something allot deeper going on side you by the amount of hate your emanating over something so small. Just saying. (Yes hate). You mention the poor tree destroyed to make this useless propaganda failing to understand the book you bought on a subject that could equally be considered propaganda(new age) also came from trees. The manager probably politely showed you concern but most likely had a good laugh when you left. Much ado about nothing. And no I wouldn't be crying if someone put a tarot card in a bible or book. In the grand scheme of things life is way to short to get ticked over the small things. I have to wonder if someone had left literature supporting your beliefs or topic or author you wouldn't have minded nearly so much as to report them.

If my tax greenbacks are used to help so-referred to as artwork wherein a person is proven defecating on a image of a nun then it must be used for anything so that you can make lifestyles greater for the ones in want. Much paintings is finished through evangelicals to furnish meals, and different offerings for the needy.

You wouldn't understand, because you know not God nor His power. It's not our job to convert or convince anybody. The Bible says the lost are "dead in trespasses and sins." Would you expect success if you were to go to a graveyard and attempt to convince the dead that they should sit up and come back to life? Your efforts would be in vain, because the dead are dead, they cannot hear you, let alone breathe. It is the same way with the lost, we have no power whatsoever to open your eyes. God alone has that ability. Christ is the one who raises from the dead. Our job is simply to expose the truth and to preach the gospel, and God does as He pleases. You have seen firsthand that job being carried out in such a way with the distribution of tracts. And, because you do not believe, you demonstrate that you're still dead in your sins, and God hasn't given you life.
