Spanked or not spanked?

Am I missing something?

Does YA Parenting have a big sign somewhere that says, "we welcome all spanking fetish creeps and child abusers?"

Yes I was spanked, and until I turned 5 I do not have any memories of it.

I remember being spanked, but I couldn't tell you if it was before I was a toddler. My dad used to take out the belt and do that snapping noise before we got spankings as kids, scared the crap out of us. But we turned out fine, sometimes just the fear is enough to keep in line. haha

No..(before toddler is like 1yrs old right?)don't remember those times but boy do I remember my spankings.(also remember the exact reasons why I was spanked..and therefore didn't do the same things twice)

no, i wasn't spanked as a child.

i take that back. only once, i was. i had night terrors as a child, which basically means that i would throw these crazy tantrums in the middle of the night but not remember any of it once i woke up in the morning. so once when i was about four, i was having one of these episodes. my dad was exhausted, so he yelled, "do you want a spanking?" and i yelled back, "yes!" and so he spanked me. lol.

that's the one and only time, though, and i don't even remember it. it's an old family story.

Well of course I was spanked, and I turned out perfectly. Sure I have a few misdemeanors here and there but who doesn't? I mean come on, physical punishment is the best kind. My dad always hit me, and I've only killed like 2 people.

Not sure. But I bet if I was to get into something my mom would spank my a$$ no problems and although annoying and painful. I thank her now for that because I stay out of trouble
