I'm twelve weeks pregnant and the need to urinate has decreased significantly?
Hi everyone, this is my forst pregnancy and Im twelve weeks 4 days pregnant and have notice in the last couple of days that the need to urinate has decreased. I've had a little bump since 8weeks and its still there, feel like it is still growing. Obviously another worrying concern is that the early pregnancy symptoms have subsided even though my breast are still tender and sore and occasionally get hungry and hunger pains(not like in the beginning) and the nausea has stopped. I'm only seeing the doctor on Monday....any experienced people who can tell me that this is normal pls

Hi don't worry hun, your body will be acting strange from now on, you are going through lots of changes.... sickness should technically subside by 12 weeks anyway, i have had 3 children and i am on my 4th pregnancy. all of them have been totally different, My 1st i was only sick twice and didn't really have the urge to pee alot until towards the end, what you may find is when you go you feel like you are peeing for the world, your breast they sound to be doing what they should, tender and sore, you will have bouts of hunger at the moment and moments when you don't feel like eating, My second pregnancy however i felt sick for the 1st 12 weeks an couldnt go near to greasy food, the smell turned my stomache and if i tried to eat it well big mistake my stomache contents were emptied within minutes of trying it, so i avoided greasy food until i felt better, yet my 3rd pregnancy i had no sickness what so ever infact i had no pregnancy symptoms for the 1st 12 weeks if it had not been for the missed period and positive test well i wouldn't of known i was pregnant, yet with baby no 4 it is completely different i have been sick since more or less day 1 and well i am 29 wks and still being sick.... so basiclally you are fine sounds to me like you are having a very normal pregnancy and that you are healthy with it,... the only time i would worry is if you get severe pains and bleeding, if this happens call emergency services hun, but well everything sounds perfect.
As for frequency of urinating well all i can say is make the most of it as when baby is bigger omg you will feel like you are peeing all the time lol, but if you are worried about how much less you are peeing well speak to your dr on monday mention to him but take a fresh pee sample with you he can check for infection etc as when you are pregnant you are more open to uti's (urinary tract infections)
Good luck in the rest of your pregnancy and keep you rfingers crossed your sickness doesn't return x

Everything you have described is normal - I had no nausea with my first pregnancy and ate like a horse and was hospitalized with sickness 3 times with my second so don't e surprised if you fee l ill then hungry!! Your breasts may feel tender throughout the whole pregnancy it really varies from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy - ultimately a good midwife will answer and questions or concerns you have, no matter how trivial. Read a variety of books for maximum advice and take advice from friends or family who have experienced pregnancy! I have had healthy 2 children and 2 totally different pregnancies so I can assure you symptoms during pregnancy are incredibly varied. Your main concerns at this stage should be if you experience severe pain or bleeding etc etc and keeping yourself healthy! Good luck! :)

It's very normal! Just around 12 weeks, the uterus rises up from where it's been hanging around in the pelvis, so it's no longer pressing down on your bladder, and you don't need to pee as much.
It's also very normal for morning sickness to fade around this point. I know it's hard not to worry--I remember it felt to me when those things happened to me that if I was growing a tiny person inside me, I should be able to feel some symptoms, but I was feeling nothing. I was totally freaking out, but everything was fine--I'm currently 34w5d, and doing great.
So try not to worry! Your doctor will give you similar reassurance.
Good luck!
