Character and/or costume ideas for a Harrison Ford themed party..?
So my boyfriend and I need to dress up as any characters from any film with Harrison Ford in it for an engagement party, but we don't have a clue what to go as...
Any ideas? :s
Anything put forward is much appreciated, please leave the movie title too :)
The only problem with Han Solo, Leia and Indiana are that they're going to be very popular. The guy engaged is going as Han, and I'm pretty sure his fiance will go as Leia...
Any other ideas?
What about movies that you've seen with interesting characters/costumes with him in? I mean not just people in everyday clothing or in suits or whatever, but something that would make a better costume than turning up in normal clothes.

You could be the one armed man!! (the Fugitive)
You could be Pris from Blade Runner and he could be Deckard or Roy
You could be Katherine and he could be Jack from Working Girl (Katherine is easier to recognized because of the cast on her leg).
I would think most people are going as characters from Indiana Jones or Star wars so I'd steer clear of those.

Yeah, there are some great characters from the Fugitive: the wife, I think she might have had some great cuts on her, like around the neck; Dr. Richard Kimble, before he went missing: as a doctor in Chicago, he looked more like a fugitive than after!!! -- he had a bushy long beard, ooh, ugly -- like what Brad Pitt looked like recently!; the one-armed man who wore a trenchcoat and had a plastic hand. Even the Julianne Moore character. I think she wore scrubs. Your boyfriend could wear a maintenance man's uniform, because the good doctor hid out as a janitor in the hospital. But you need to see the movie again to nail the costumes. I watch it every time it comes on TV. For some reason, I never grow tired of it.
Otherwise, surf IMDB.com, the independent movie database, and put in Harrison's name. You could be Amish like Kelly McGillis in The Witness; I think Harrison dressed Amish a little there, otherwise he was a police detective. He was a pilot in Six Days, Seven Nights, kind of island garb; he and Anne Heche probably had lots of tears in their clothes while on the run. He was the bad guy in What Lies Beneath, and a professor. You would be the Michelle Pfeiffer character, or the victim -- lots of dripping weeds there. He was even in Apocalypse Now and American Graffiti, I'm not sure how. You'd need to see all these movies.
If your cable provider has free movies, you could see if you could find a Ford movie in there and watch it for ideas. Good luck!

Indiana Jones is always a good idea for a guy. For a couple I would say, Han Solo and Princess Lea from Star Wars. That would make a good set of costumes. Most of his other films are good, but don't have very unique costumes.

Indiana Jones, Han Solo, just look up movies that he's done and figure out what you wanna dress up as.

You could do the "Fugitive" by dressing up as a doctor or nurse and putting your boyfriend in an orange jumpsuit and fake beard.
Or "American Graffiti" by putting him in a cowboy hat and you can dress as a 1950's slu...ummm "girl of loose morals."
Or you could both just dress up nice and say you're Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ryan. Maybe dummy up a couple CIA badges.
Or you could get really crazy with heavy make up and neon jewelry and trash bags and do some kind of Bladerunner thing.
