Question about facebook notifications being sent to phone!?

I know you need to be able to access the web to get notifications from facebook, but with my plan I don't get unlimited mobile access. Since I don't have unlimited mobile access is it possible to still get the notifications without the bill being huge?

Sorry my question doesn't make a lot of sense.. don't really know how to ask it.

    yeah its possible,

open your facebook and click it "account settings"

    after click it "notifications"

then click on this sentence "Send notifications to my phone via SMS"

as far as i am aware, that is false. You do not need internet access on your phone to get facebook notifications. They come in the form of text messages on my phone, and i do not pay a huge bill.

Now if you wanted to access facebook from your phone, then yes you would need an internet package. But just for receiving notifications, you do not. It should not cost you anything extra.

just text fb to 32665 and u can set it up that way. not sure about that number though but u can look for it on Facebook. It won't effect ur internet bill or whatever. Just ur texting. So if u have unlimited texting then it should be okay. Notifications are sent as texts.
