if i get a poodle should i get a mail or femail?

i know that the choice is mine but i am stuck on a crack on the wall. i always say im getting a femail than i say i want a mail than i get soooooo confused i did my research on the breed and now im stuck by this road block.

no bad answers like i don't know i guess i want a good answer i have been think about this for well over a year

Update:

i ment when i get a poodle

Update 2:

i might put the dog in a show but i will not breed i will feel bad if the puppies don't come out healthy because of me i will get the dog fixed if i can afford it when i get a poodle

Update 3:

i have had femail dogs and never had a mail dog that is why i asked for detales but i have never had a poodle. why should i check the mail did you email me? or send me a letter

Update 4:

Laura i can sooo agree with you

Update 5:

*Sombra* you get the point right i already know that my spelling is bad i am getting better at it i just type fast and don't check it

Update 6:

dude im 15 and takind care of a foster dog

Update 7:

May i know that feeling

Update 8:

to ? i am 15 and am taking care of a foster dog so fix your answer and tell me your opinion. the reason why spelling badly is because i type fast and with only one finger and sometimes i will type so fast that i will still be thinking about it after i typed it. i am old enough to have a pet a found a dog last year and she was pregnant and i had no clue until we started to feed her and then i did not have the heart to dump her and i wanted to the best i could for those puppies so i stayed up with the dog until every pup was out and after that i was always checking on them until thay were homed and i feel like crap every day because i am still unsure of the homes thay got. you can't say that i'm not old enough ok.

the i key is messed up on the lap top some times there might be an i where not wanted ok

Update 9:

this laptop is not the best one ok so you might find messed up sentences the mouse pad likes to click even if i don't touch it and it acts up all the time like i will take my finger off of the mouse pad and as soon as i do the arrow will move in the opposite direction that happend almost every day

Both make great pets. Gender makes absolutely no difference.

    Shop around.

Go to a few different shelters, rescues and breeders.

Chances are, a dog/puppy will jump out at you and you'll fall in love. Gender won't matter 1 bit.

Well if you live alone and are going to be VERY faithful to this dog a female. They make good partners and get more attached to one person. You could also breed her. Or get her fixed. Females are easier to house train because they are less sturbon.

Now if you have a family a male. Get him fixed first, They don't run away as bad and with a family the last thing on your mind is going to be "did the dog run away" males do better with kids they aren't as possessive either. If you get him fixed he won't pee on everything inside.

But the choice is ultimately yours a poodle takes a lot of time and effort no matter what and I'm sure youy will be a great owner good luck.

my mom and i were looking for dogs and she wanted a female because if she ever wanted more dogs she could breed it. My previous dog was a male so maybe she wanted to try the opposite sex, although he was awesome. But with the bad economy a male is cheaper, it does not need to be fixed in the future, it will not pms, and strickly because they can not be breeded so breeders sell them for less. My friends dog becomes such a B***h around its time of the month. Just remember that male dogs hump ALOT so most of them also get fixed, mostly because the humpping becomes annoying

Not sure about poodles but I am a female and I have a male dog. We haven't had any problems. Different people have told me that if I would have gotten a female that wouldn't be the case. Don't ask me why but that is what I have heard. So from their theory which is not mine- male owner/female dog - female owner/male dog.

    Get a male :)

I hate how poodles and other fluffy dogs are steryotyped as girly dogs, so I love when people own male poodles. My aunt has a male poodle named Wyatt and he is the sweetest thing in the world :)

Take the money meant for the dog and invest in a library membership.

Dude, you're 15 and the dog wouldn't be yours, it would be your parents.

In conclusion, neither, you shouldn't get a mail or femail, you should focus on school

'Mail' is what goes in the mailbox.

Get whichever you prefer. I prefer male dogs, but that's me. I've also got a great feMALE mixed-breed.

I think you should be old enough to learn to spell ''male'' and ''female'' before you get a pet.

I say female because males are most likely to have more bladder issues.
