On a label, what exactly does 100% Vitamin C mean?

I don't normally drink juice because I find it too sugary, but today my mom bought a peach flavored Sunny D juice thats claims to have 100% Vitamin C.

So I'm just wondering if this means you get 100% of your daily need for Vitamin C in one serving. If not, what does it mean?

Update:

It has 18g of sugar also. Is that good or a lot? Because sure it could give me all the Vitamin C I need, but it might be a lot of sugar.

Yeah that is exactly what it means.

Edit- As for sugar, it depends. Is the orange juice 100% orange juice? Oranges have natural sugar in them so if it is 100% natural orange juice it will have the natural sugar. If there is added granulated sugar it is best to stay away from it.
