When will my cats mate?
I have a female cat and she started to show the signs of wanting to meat (She is one year old now)!
She start meowing so ******* hard ...When we pick her up she would grab our arm and meow even louder! She also started to rub her hind legs on our legs!
We brought her a Male cat (about but not sure 2 years) yesterday and our cat kept attacking him
a couple of times but he always scratches her in her face forcing her to back down but when he tries
to get near her she growls at him making him change his direction!
He attempted a couple of times to ride her but he failed as she kept jumping up and down and todays is the first day for him...they are now sitting in peace and harmony away from each other in the same room but if he goes closer to her she starts to growl!
i want to know How long does it take for two cats to know each other well and mate? Is there any chance those 2 would mate?

LOL, isn't it great when they are in heat! Don't be shocked if she won't accept him if this is her first real heat. In the mean time she will let him when she feels ready. Some things to try to help her relax a bit is to give them both their own space, don't sit and stare at them. She may feel uncomfortable having people around her when she has this going on. It's sad b/c I don't think the female knows just what she wants when they are in heat, I swear I used to think mine sounded like she was suffering sometimes while in heat. Basically give them space and only intervene if you hear some serious fighting. For now I would make sure that the male cat isn't in a area where there is carpet or furniture b/c he is most likely going to spray at some point to make his turf, he wants to make sure no other boys come try to hit on his girl, lol. You probably already know it's hard to get that smell out of things once they spray. If you aren't familiar with "spraying" , the male cats do it, they don't give you much warning and they don't do it the same way that they pee, instead they kind of back up to something and somehow the spray/pee comes out and gets on whatever is behind it. It smells like a skunk and is really hard to clean so I would make sure he doesn't "get" anything that can't easily be cleaned. Also once he "gets" her she may not want him around her again at all although it isn't uncommon for a cat to get pregnant by several different fathers, don't know if you knew that but it's true. My friend had one female and two males, one was a siamese and the other was a mutt pure white cat. Mama cat had some siamese and siamese with white on them so she figured that the white cat was the one who mated with her but the vet informed her that he felt that both of the cats had "nailed" her, lol, pardon my mouth, lol.

When I bred my Himalayan cats, the queen was taken to the stud (to his territory, not him coming to her). Breeders keep stud cats in special accommodations because un neutered male cats spray, especially when there is a female in heat around.
Just because you like this male, it doesn't mean she will. I had to use my 2nd choice with my Himi because she refused the male I preferred. Even with a male that she accepts, the female will turn on the male after the act is complete - male cats have tiny barbs on their penises that irritate the female and induce her to ovulate. Experienced stud cats know all about this and get the hell out of the way afterward. Your female could put a serious hurting on this male.
You should know all this info before you jump into breeding anything so you can give the animals involved the proper care during the breeding, pregnancy, birth and raising of the litter.

Play some light romantic music, light some candles, dim the lights, and give them each a glass of wine. It won't be long after that that they will mate.

You need to first put her on one side of the room and put him in another room. Then call your vet and ask when you can bring them in to be neutered and spayed. You have NO clue as to the proper way to breed cats, so the best thing you can do is to get them both neutered and spayed. Then they will become friends.
