Anyone with MTHFR or even without ever have a miscarriage or loss after 20weeks?
First off MTHFR is a gene mutation that causes me not to give folic acid to the baby and causes my blood to clot... Now has anyone with OR without this ever had a pregnancy loss after 20weeks? Since I am high risk I was thinking that I would wait to announce my next pregnancy until after 20weeks (If I'm not huge) but to be safe. This is because I am high risk and have had early pregnancy losses. Has anyone lost a pregnancy after 20weeks??? Stories? Thoughts? Opinions?

I lost my son at 21 weeks gestation. Telling people we had lost him was incredibly hard. After I lost my son I conceived another 4 times, I lost all of them in the first 6 weeks.......by that stage I had stopped telling people I was pregnant, including my husband, I would just wait to lose them. Best of luck, I really hope that you do manage to carry a pregnancy to a safe gestational age, Im fortunate that my first pregancy was successful, my daughter was born at 32 weeks.

A loss that late would be pretty rare, your risk for miscarriage drops significantly once you hit second trimester. I am not familiar with your condition however and don't have a whole lot else to add, but just wanted to send good thoughts your way for a healthy pregnancy and baby.
