So how many vacations had Obama taken this year?
And I DO NOT care to hear anything about past President's vacations.
We are in the WORST shape this country has ever been since the Depression. Basically where I'm going with this is I run my own business, in business for over 22 years. This is the 1st year that I can't afford to take time off for a vacation, So how does it make sense he's planning his what 6th, 7th, 8th what ever vacation this year....
Mr. President you have been on vacation ever since you took office I believe you need to start taking your role alittle more seriously.
Thank you
Marc, You just do not get it
I'm a small business owner, with all this uncertainty in the business world HOW CAN YOU JUSTIFY OBAMA'S VACATIONS.

He and his family are having the time of their lives with our money. That's right, you and I are paying for his many vacations. Does that make you feel any better? Probably not. Most Americans are lucky to take one vacation a year. The Obamas have had what 4-5? I do know that when GW took his trips to Crawford, he would invite world leaders to discuss matters. So these trips were not vacations per say. In his free time he would clear brush and work on his ranch.

Same story here in India. We are paying for merry times for our leaders. I suppose this is the story in all countries and continents. This cannot just go on. There has to be an end. But we are helpless beings and get tossed by every wind of politics. When I take vacation, my next door neighbor does not know it. But when the leaders take vacation, the food plates disappear in all homes! I asked a magician friend to arrange such a show; he shook head sadly and went away. I do not feel comfortable with such words as I am probably approaching the threshold of Yahoo! tolerance. So, I wish you get back better days. Think...think...think...find a way. I have my own theories but I am afraid to publicise in this forum.

I was a small business owner (dependent on others disposable income) for 15 yrs. I had a stretch of multiple yrs. where I didn't take a single day off. I survived the Bush Sr. recession, thrived during the Clinton yrs., but the 2nd GW admin forced the demise of my American dream. My mistake to think the economy could maintain a degree of stability.
The current direction of gov is not conducive to small business. I hope you are preparing for your future.
I don't think Obama's vacations are relevant ... he's not reversing the poor economy when he's at work.

Presidents do not GET "vacations", they are on the job 24/7/365....they always have been, and probably always will be, WHICHEVER Party they happen to represent.
As a brief aside, if you have been running a viable business for 22 years and have not yet grown it to the point where YOU are not an "essential component" to its viability, you are either a masochist, or you really should not BE in business! ANY business model in which a single individual is critical to an operation is, by all accounts, a bad model...

I don't care if you don't want to hear it. Bush took more vacations before 9/11 by far. After 9/11 he spent his time ignoring the Constitution and allowing Wall Street to ruin our economy. Now Obama is being blamed for it because he isn't fixing it quickly enough to suit you. You're angry with the wrong person.

His whole brain is always on vacation.
