Might i suggest this Japanese Drama, as it is one of my FAV as i find it so smart, and really made me want to study neuroscience in uni, but i kinda realise im not that smart...hahahaha!!

I'd say take a look at it and consider it, if you want a break from anime once in a while :D

First off - Vampire Knight. Its about this high school girl - Yuki Cross - who goes to Cross Academy. This academy is divided into the Day Class (humans) and the Night Class (vampires). She and her vampire hunter friend, Zero, have to protect the secrets of the Night Class from the Day Class. She is in love with Kaname Kuran, the leader of the vampires. Ermmm... ok so Im horrible at explainations and Ive only watched about half of the episodes. But if you go to youtube and search Vampire Knight trailer then you will see what got me hooked to this anime. Just do it - its like 2 minutes of your life! lol

Secondly - Avatar the Last Airbender. This is an English anime that was created in America (weird huh?). But it is urprisingly good. Its about a young boy, Aang, who is the only kid who can save his world from the Fire Nation who has taken over most of the world. Now I have warn you that the first couple episodes are a little slow. But I swear every episode is better than the last. So please dont judge it because its originally English or because the first couple episodes arent very good.

And lastly - Ouran High School Host Club. This one probablly isnt your taste to be honest. Its mainly a romantic comedy. Its not action or adventure either. But I absolutely loved it!

Heroic age an anime which take place in space with humans fighting diffrent enemies like the silver tribe a group of humanoid powerful beings with powerfulmental abilities the bronze tribe a group of insects basicly and nodos members of the heroic tribe, basicly huge giants who are in a metal casing each representing something, and having specific abilitites, a very good anime in my opinion

DRRR didn't get you right into the story. It sort of revealed things, then went back and showed why stuff happened. It's basically about a whole bunch of people in a small part of Tokyo, and how they all interact. It's supernatural, and action I guess. It's hard to explain without revealing anything, sorry ^__^;

You CAN try Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. The story absolutely blew me away after watching both seasons. Although, it is gory and is on the more horror side but definitely has the suspenseful/mystery side to it.

I think you would enjoy Toradora its almost exactly 24-25 episodes long and the story is really good. Its has a slightly sad ending and is a romance comody but i think it would be good for what you want.

Soul Eater, D. Gray Man. Detective conan is an anime that i personally fell in love with.

Black Cat is 24 episodes and it involves assassins, weapons, and clones. It's a fairly good series. Lots and lots of action and a good plot.
