How do I get rid of bug bites?

I have these little bites on my legs from a few weeks ago when my dog had fleas. I have been putting generic neosporon on them and they are starting to go away but not fast enough. What is a quick way to get rid of them? It's summer and I want to show off my legs!

    A drying cream such as hydrocortisone cream will make these go away faster than putting an antibiotic ointment on them.

    This may sound really wierd, but I've been told putting clear nail polish over them helps.
