Hold him in your hands and keep him close to your stomach.
Has he eaten lately? Try giving him some sunflower seeds but pitted them first. This happened to my gerbil the other day, I found out she wasn't eat all her food but she quickly bounced back to herself after. Also put some toilet paper in a little house type thing and keep it in the cape with a heat lamp or heater.
If you see no improvement by tomorrow morning you might have to take it to the vet.

Is he sick? Use body heat. Hold him in your hands, close to your stomach. Make sure the room he's in isn't cold. The temperature should be around 75+. Try calling a vet, or taking him in to see the vet.

You need to take him to a vet. It's probably more serious then "being cold"..
But if you don't have the money or time to take it to the vet.. Just take toilet paper, or Kleenex and put it in it's cage, and the gerbil will tear it up and make a nest to keep warm in.

Try to keep him warm by holding him or wrapping a tiny blanket around him. Don't let him get cold or him could die.....that's what happened to my hamster.
