There's specific light designed for under water (water proof). If you want made your self ,you should be sure about sealant electric connections (water proof it) .Other wise may burn the fuse and light ,about electric shock cause of high amount of the water shock will be too low ,but device will burn .

No my friend. Your camera is waterproof but a regular lamp does not have a waterproof socket, and the plugs on the lamp and the plugs on a regular extension cord are not waterproof. At least you don't have to worry about being electrocuted when you slide into the pool because the lamp and plugs will have already tripped the circuit breaker as soon as you plug everything in. You need to have a waterproof light with a long enough cord to reach above the surface or a cord with waterproof plugs to do what you are planning. Why don't you consider buying or renting strobe lights for your camera?

***ABSOLUTELY DO NOT**** climb into water with a

120V. plugged in lash up like that in it. It could kill you.

BTW; It's also likely to kill your fish.
