How come I'm not getting anymore benefits from unemployment?
I live in Colorado and was let go from a federal job. When I call to check my status I still have $1600 in benefits. And my end date is in October. I recently had to open a new claim about 3 weeks ago. But I've been without for almost 2 months. I have been calling in every week and actively looking for a job. The packet of information they sent and the website do not help. And calling is just out of the question right now. Is this just a waiting period before the new claim starts or something? I'm about to call in again for the second time of this new claim on Sunday. Any answers will help. Thanks in advance!

You won't know until you do call. Nobody here works for CO unemployment department, and even if they did they could not tell you anything here.
