Why does god allow childen to be abused?
I'm really finding it difficult to believe in Him right now.
I've been a faithful Catholic my whole life but right now I'm going through the most difficult time of my life, I have no family support and my children have been put with abusive people, and It looks like they'll be with these abusers for another year at least.
I was abused as a child and know what they're going through right now, all I want is to love my babies and I want to know if god says there's a reason and season for everythign
what's the reason for this?

God has nothing to do with the abuse of children and if you think I speak out of turn I can only tell you that I was abused from birth for the better part of 17 years.
God gave man the choice of free will and vowed not to interfere with free will. Why do people always look up to God when something goes wrong in their lives?
Look around you at all the pain and suffering in the world and ask yourself this question. Who is responsible? We are... people are responsible for this cauldron of hate we live in and yes abuse is unfortunately a part of many children's lives.
God is a God of love and not wrath and yes there will come a time when He will judge those who did wrong but He also said that He will never interfere again.
Another question... how many people and governments do you see trying to put a stop to abuse, child pornography and slavery?
People will know about abuse next door and do nothing because they do not want to become involved. Governments will spend billions on war but not on the eradication of the above vices.
So please do not falter in your faith but rather ask God to forgive these people and to help you with your situation. Pray and believe in what you ask and you will get it. I have lived through and witnessed many miracles where people were strong in their faith.
Wishing you all the best and please do not give up.

The truth is, nobody really knows the answer to this question. Why do bad things happen to good people? Why do bad things happen to children who have done nothing to deserve it? The world we live in is a terrible place. It is filled with evil and because of this, bad things are going to happen-- especially to good people and to children.
If I were you, I would start by reading the book of Job. The last few chapters are the best!
Just trust God to do what's best. We don't always understand what's going on up there, but I can tell you this much:
Romans 8:28
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
