ok someone give me a good reason to watch a show sub before i crazy with there reasoning?

well, there always some bad and good side to both of it...but still i would prefer sub over dub, the reason is? it's just what i like...and yeah i like japanese too so yeah, it's all up to you, and what you like.

japanese voice also epic and it well fit with the animation, cuz it original and they are pro cuz it's their culture

and for us who watch sub for years, we can read and watch at the same time without any problems, and some can even watch raw, and still understand over 50%, you will get use to it if u try

One Piece. It has receive the worst dub treatment. The guns turn to water guns. Pirates with WATER GUNS!!! The voices does not sound right either. It is dub by 4Kids. It is literally 4 kids. Oh and the dub is 100 or more episodes behind subs since they have to be translated.

2nd example: Ash from Pokemon suddenly turn into a sissy with the new voice.

3rd example: Naruto has a catch phrase in dub. "Believe it!" Believe what you idiot, Naruto!!!

Now I have a feeling someone don't want to admit sub is better. There is no reassurance here that dub is better. I forgot to mention there are only about 50 series that are dub. Majority are in sub.

Ive only seen a couple anime MOVIES where the dub was good and that because they hired good voice actors. "Princess mononoke." and "Howls Moving Castle." were 2 good DUBBED movies, however in general DUBBED anime is unwatchable NARUTTO, BLEACH ect theyre absolutely horrible dubbed. U have to watch them SUBBED. DUBBED the voices all sound the same, there isnt any emotion its just plain unwatchable.

IF U PREFER DUBBED IT MEENS A COUPLE THINGS a) YOUR A CHILD AND YOUR BRAIN HASNT DEVELOPED FULLY YET SO U CANT EVEN TELL THAT THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME AND LACK EMOTION DUBBED or B) YOUR JUST NOT VERY BRIGHT AND ITS TO HARD FOR U TO READ QUICK ENOUGH.

trust me watch subbed.

you get to see what there relaly saying not the corny kiddy water downed American version where they cant curse or say anything "inappropriate" and the voices sound way better. When you first start watching them subbed its really really weird and different but after a few episodes you get used to it. Also the dubbed ones cut alot of stuff out. If your watching an anime about fighting, the American dubbs always cut out the blood and like brutal scenes which totally sucks. lol

WATCH SUB. youll get used to it. also it wont hurt to try lol.

examples:

Dragon ball z. Vegeta curses soooo much n of course they cut it out but it made him sound n look wayyy meaner lol they also cut out sooo soo soo much blood which sucks.

Naruto: OMG dont even get me started. 1. the voice actors have to be the worst iv ever heard. 2. they cut out so much blood and alot of scenes. 2. They rewrite the script for no reason i mean they curse and say inappropriate things i understand there cutting that out for kids but still they replace things that dont need to be replace and they just sound stupid lol.

When it comes to the dubbed series heres the bad things about it

-Sometimes the voices are plain weird.

-At times when someone gets sick you have to wait until they get better so they can go on and continue with the show which means you have to wait who knows how many days until the next upload.

-The dubbed series are always translated into something that makes sense to the directors, They pretty much AT TIMES decide to make the scrip like they wanna.

I'm gonna go with One Piece examples:

1. They cut out some of the language used.

2. When they yell or do battle crys it sounds like they're mocking the character.

3. The voices don't match well.

4. It sounds more... natural in Japanese.

For me, it's Naruto - in the dubbed one, all the guys sound like chicks. I watched most of the subbed version.
