Those that support the Mosque in NY....especially the flaming liberals who, want much of our Christian influence extinguished, ("America is no longer a Christian Nation") turn right around and call this "religious freedom" to have a mosque right next to Ground Zero.(do I hear "money and vote getting" for the Libs ?)

What the majority of liberals dont seem to get is certain Muslims dont give a rip about American freedom except to propagate more children through "anchor babies" and eventually out vote what is left of American values, reduce or eliminate the Constitution, & to institute Sharia as they are in the UK.

Building the Mosque so close to Ground Zero is political, ideological victory against infidels. Stupid leftwingers miss this point, all the while Muslims are continuing in a long range plan within our borders.

As to your Israel (note spelling) comparison.....not to worry. Last I heard years ago, the Dome of the Rock is in the outer court, and not of concern to rebuilding their Temple.

Even your edit there seems pretty vague on the useful information. Innocent Muslims died in the World Trade Center as well, you do recognize? And anyway, that's beside the point. You are comparing a supposed holy site with a building two blocks away from the main epicenter of a terrorist attack. Wasn't the building already owned and operated by Islamic people? And either way that question goes, why insult the freedom of religion in the US by trying to deny people who had nothing to do with the terrorist incident?

I don't see how these two things are comparable.

First up, it's 'Israel'. Next, 45-47 Park Place is not a holy site in any major religion, and the community canter isn't being built on the site of a 1500 year old church or synagogue, so there's really no comparison. Third, there isn't really any opposition at all to its construction AMONG THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY LIVE THERE. Anybody who wants to fly into the city for a day and tell the actual residents how they should make their decisions needs to go piss on an outlet, kthxbai.

I am still pizzed off about 9/11 but our laws do allow freedom of religion so what can we do. I do believe it is a slap in the face of 95% of American people though.

I'm neutral, but I can't argue with the constitutional rights of the Muslims. They are fully able to exercise their freedom of religion.
