Should we let the Bush tax cuts expire, after all the jobs & booming economy they've created?

Oh, wait...

Update:

They created "millions of jobs?" What world have you been living in? Have you looked at the unemployment figures, which had been getting continually worse until they started to flatten out a few months ago? You know, when you say something so outrageously absurd, it destroys your credibility.

Update 2:

Wow, Elvis - what a rant! It would be profound it if made sense, and if any part of it were true. I know, "Blame it on Clinton..."

... let them expire for those making over 250,000

    "extend" for earners making less

those who have benefitted extremely well from the US system would be "repaying" in some small part the unspoken services which they have been provided ["security" and opportunity which ain't chopped liver]

of course we should not let the tax cuts expire. The economic recession has not been caused by the Bush tax cuts. We know what caused it. It was made worse by the government keeping interest rates artificially low and then bailing out businesses. Even before that the Clinton administration and the republicans got rid of the deficit which caused a chain of events which started the recession with the bursting of the housing bubble. of course the original caused is FDR's stupid government programs which have interfered with private business and taxes for so long that were used to the economic problems they cause. not the bush tax cuts. their are plenty of conflicting reasons for the economic collapse being debated by economists, bush tax cuts are not one of them.

The Bush tax cuts created millions of jobs and a terrific economy. This is certainly not the time to raise taxes.

Without the Bush tax cuts, you'd be hurtin far worse. The Dems in Congress are even wanting to extend them. They see what's coming.

    Your right!

As people struggle in their personal lives, we should take more money away from them, and give it to other people, to have a net gain? a boost in the economy?

    I have $2

    You have $0

    I give you a $1

How many dollars do the two of us have...$3?

    This is the new math.
