how do i connect my xbox 360 to an HD tv? I've tried but there's no sound?

I've put the green, blue and red HD cables into the back of the tv - the picture is amazing, but there's no sound.. Any clues?

The sound works perfectly well when I use the scart lead instead..

if you using the hd cable that come with the xbox ( the one that has 6 wires ) you have to plug in the blue green and red composit cables and also the red and white sound wires, you 5 cables in all.

If your TV is HDMi ready then I recommend getting a HDMi cable. It does everything in one cable for only £2 or maybe $4. It also looks neater than loads of different cables.

I had the same problem. The EXACT same problem and I just gave up and got the HDMi.
