SOME MORE QUESTIONS
by C.S. Scotkin
Dreams of challenges, choices and change
Invaded my brain, in deepest sleep
There was no rest
Examine these drops,
Are they rain or tears
or falls from grace?
Does it matter?
Is it our fault?
Is it our glory?
Can we learn to dance
While avoiding toes?

Hello Cynthia,
This is a thing that has been tearing (how come 'tear' and 'tear' are spelt the same?) at the open wound on my heart. I think I will write it all down someday.
Myself, I never liked brains, even fried ones. They complicate the mundane and overlook the critical.
Poetic metaphors are meant to enrich us, nourish our souls. You have done so.

If I keep gazing at their toes,
I'll never learn to dance;
At best, I 'd emulate their moves,
mime woes and sighs of
their romance.
sit on their seat,
pretend their heat,
dance my time
to their heart-beat..
Nice write, Cynthia. I do ask myself such questions; and the answers are always there, but the limitations of meanings imposed by traditional definitions of terms (e.g. glory, fault, dance) might not be of much help to comprehend broader the picture of those answers. So I keep asking!
Me thanks you for sharing this verse!

Good Morning!
.. I held the dreams
today or was it
yesterday,
they floated off,
vexatiously
...
I felt relief
it melted off my
...back
to where I was
before, and
nothing mattered
Good to see you!
