I am looking for a blondie brownie base, is there a good one out there?

I have a good brownie base recipe, I can alter to fit my taste. I am now looking for a "blondie" base to try out. Anyone have any?

There are many variations of blonde brownies to try. Consider adding instant coffee crystals for coffee blondies. Add a cup of white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts for white chocolate nutty blondies. Add in dried cranberries and white chocolate chips for another tart but sweet treat. Some people like to add coconut flakes and dark chocolate chips into blondie brownies for a brownie that tastes like a vanilla Mounds bar brownie. Experiment and you'll find plenty of fun ways to play with this base recipe.

    Blonde Brownies Base Recipe

    Ingredients You Will Need:

    1 cup flour

    2 teaspoons baking powder

    1 teaspoon salt

    1 stick butter, softened

    1 ¾ cups brown sugar

    2 teaspoons vanilla

    2 large eggs, slightly beaten

1 ½ cup coarsely chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Using two tablespoons of butter, grease brownie pan (pan should be 13" by 9"), reserving the other six tablespoons of butter for brownie batter.

Melt butter. Incorporate brown sugar, vanilla and eggs into melted butter. Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well. Combine contents of two bowls, stirring just enough to completely blend ingredients into a cohesive batter. Pour batter into brownie pan, scraping sides of bowl with a rubber spatula to get all of the batter.

Bake for 30 minutes. Keep an eye on the blondies for the last few minutes of baking.

For the best blondie brownies, prepare batter as described and cook for as little time as possible while still making sure batter is cooked through. Set the timer for the minimum time recommended and check on them often until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes clean.

Let them cool in the pan. They will firm up as they cook, finishing that last bit of cooking after being removed from the oven. Cut and serve them while warm. If they seem a bit rich, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to cut the sweetness.
