How can you expect the younger people to have incentive, when there is no encouragement?

Here is the problem: Younger people have to be given external incentive before they do anything. See, in the old days we people supported one another (LOL), people were intrinsically motivated. They did not need the cheering squad. If they saw doom and gloom, they resolved to take care of themselves in a way that would protect them. Now, it sounds like you are saying, that they sit around and wallow in muck and mire. I, too, am sick of people wanting to be spoonfed milk and honey instead of what is real!

The unemployed will allways be blamed for unemployment. Only changing your political system will change things. How can kids in the UK find work when most jobs go to Poles etc. They say they work hard but really they work for desperate need to change their lives. They live 6/8/12 to a house and send back as much money to their lame dog countries they can. These countries like Poland have only one export.....THEIR UNEMPLOYED. They feed off the EEC and are only in the EEC to destabilise their old neighbors RUSSIA. Banks should be segragated......Banks that lend for business....for house purchase....for speculation. If you make beggers of your workforce you will go from recession to depression. I dont know if you are US or UK based but the basics are the same.And dont watch SKY NEWS or FOX NEWS as you will always be depressed and ill informed.

We live in the big city, and it is a lot like that.

how is this for a revolutionary idea, they get an education, knuckle down, get decent grades, and then come out of school, go to Uni if possible, see what they can contribute to society, get a job, then have a life, it isn't that difficult, most of us have done it you know.

Too much sheltering from parents, so really it's your guys fault. Didn't expose younger people to things and now they don't know how to handle things.

But really it's just time for a major change and a renewal in this country,

Their all waiting for the BBC to tell them what attitude they can take. Community spirit comes from standing up to be counted, and standing firm by your community and your children's future. You'll find Precious little of that in this country accept in the Immigrant communities.

the problem with the job aspect is they want u 2 have experience but no1 will give u a chance to give u experience.

the fact being most ppl are better off on benefits compared to working. which is wrong.
