Will the air compressor from a 92 GMC Safari work on a 97 s10?
Will the compressor be a perfect fit in regards to bolt pattern and hose connections? Or am i just wasting my time?

The 4.3 V-6 in the 92 van is different than the 97 pick up. GM went to a Vortec setup in 95 on the 4.3. It's the same engine with a different intake and heads. All the hoses and lines for everything are routed differently. It could be a pain in the A**.
The best thing to do is call a local parts store and ask to look up the compressor for both trucks and compare the part numbers.
