What is a nice place/thing to do for a couple in Springfield Illinois?
We are going on a family trip to Springfield this coming week, and my husband and I will be have a couple hours to go out by ourselves for a date. I was wanting to know of any good places for a date, more unique than movies, would be in Springfield, Illinois.

Illinois State Fair starts on the 13th through the 22d.
I've heard the Abraham Lincoln Museum is good and of course there is Lincoln's house and law office.
If you are into architecture - there is a Frank Lloyd Wright House
Other than that - welcome to Central Illinois - take a drive through country roads and the cornfields.
